Japanese bath fittings giant Toto seem to have found the ultimate answer to the world’s water-saving woes. The Toto Neorest AH type tankless toilet is the world’s first bowl-cleaning system that uses water from both a toilet tank as well as an external supply line to function properly on just 5.5 liters of water as compared to 13 liters of water the average conventional western style toilet uses. The Neorest even features an innovative seat warming technology to persuade even the staunchest supports of the conventional loo. That added with an even more alluring warm water butt wipe and warm air drying system could even convert even the most environmentally-unfriendly person into a treehugger! The Toto Neorest AH type tankless toilet will be out on display at the Japanese Design 2008 Innovation to be held in Milan from April 10th through to April 20th this year.
