Vertebrae vertical bathroom system – A perfect backbone for the small bathroom
Leena | May 23 2008

The creative faculties of designer Paul present the Vertebrae vertical bathroom system as a great solution for small spaced bathrooms. This innovative luxury bathroom unit that was launched at KBB 2008 at the NEC, UK won a lot of appreciation from designers, manufacturers, journalists, end-users and the like for its space-efficient design. It surely bears a striking resemblance to the vertebral column of animals, each modular unit comprising a vertebra attached to the central steel spinal cord. The modular units consist of all the bathroom furniture and accessories that you can think of. There is a loo, a sink, a cistern, a couple of showerheads (one for you and the other for your kids) and a couple of storage modules amongst others. You just need to push out or rather rotate the module that you want to use. It uses only 0.4 sq. mts of your bathroom space.

Well, it is the best design that you can ask for in terms of space economy. But there are other things to be considered. Personally, I wouldn’t want to have my loo clubbed together with all my other bathroom furniture and after taking a shower there is a good chance of all the underlying modules getting wet. This seems to be a nice choice if you have no other option owing to space constraints. You can take home this unit for $20k.
