The arresting “knot” shaped light pictured above is one nifty lighting by Kenne Cheong. Visually appealing, the innovative lamp doesn’t appear to be dull and boring at any point, not even when off. Showed off at the Singapore Expo last month at the Furniture Design Awards (FDA) exhibit, the knot lamp received an Honorable Mention in the Young Designer Category, indeed deserving! The lamp glows when the light stick beneath is bent and turns off when the light stick comes back to its normal position. You gotta tie a knot in the light stick to let the lamp glow constantly.
