The boring vacuum cleaner gets an infusion of style and with it some stability as well. The handwork of the industrial designer Josh Eyre, the Boreas Vacuum wet/dry cleaner is one cute looking contraption that shares an uncanny resemblance to one of Nasa’s Mars Rovers with its four little wheels arranged in a diamond design. This fresh, brightly colored design adds some-much needed character to this very useful household appliance making it more of a nice little buddy to have, rather than an ugly cleaning gadget. The largish polyurethane wheels give the Boreas the much needed stability so that it won’t trip over when you are vacuuming some hard-to-reach corners. Also, lugging it over obstacles will also be easy with the bigger wheels and a grippy handle. The vacuum cord, of course, is retractable and once you are done vacuuming your house, the Boreas will sit quietly in any corner, and will do so looking like a cute little toy. The price though, is unavailable at this moment.
