Solar flowerpot charger: Power your gadgets in style!
Rajni | Mar 9 2009

Keeping the stylish aspect in mind, Mitsubishi in collaboration with Japanese designer Mac Funamizu has invented a foliage plant-like solar cell module by using organic thin-film solar cells, an environment friendly pot that powers your electrical devices at home, in particular your cell phones.

What’s different? The white container like pot includes a smooth cavity to accommodate your mobile phone and energize it in eco-style. It harnesses energy from the sun and each solar module, sealed with a thin protective film, prevents the entry of water and oxygen. The energy thus generated from the plant is used to power gadgets and other electrical devices at home. Besides smart functionality, the end of awkward charging cables and devices and the beginning of a charge-to-decorate era in our gadget-saturated lives is the cool trait that sets this chic house accessory apart.
