Renowned company Siemens is in the news these days for its launch of discControl operating technology for cooktops. Scheduled to be exhibited at IFA 2009 in Berlin from September 4 to 9, the techie cooktops endowed with a smooth magnetic disk allow you to control the cooking zones just like you do with your MP3 player. You just gotta touch the disk lightly and spin it to the setting you want. It’s as simple as that! The discControl has four black disks set into a wide, front silver metal panel. Each disk takes the responsibility of controlling the power of a single cooking zone. Quite an inventive cooktop!
