QuietHome soundproof doors block noise by 85%
Jaiyant Cavale | Sep 4 2008

Serious Materials has launched the QuietHome soundproof doors that could help people increase their volume without disturbing the neighbors. The company can help us have THX-certified homes because of their doors which also joins their THX-certified drywall. Apparently there is an 85% improvement in sound blockage and you could go ahead and use your amplifiers without fearing arrests. The THX-certified edition is 2 1/4-inch thick and would cost $2,500. These could also help the sound isolation demands of not only homes but also commercial cinemas, recording studios and other units. This has to be one of the better designs and products we have seen lately. Nobody has to either complain about neighbor’s noise nor someone needs to complain about not being able to play music loud.

The doors can take it but the eardrums cannot. LOL

That’s good if you live in a noisy place.
