Plugless Sink: Saving precious water resources one day at a time
Asmita | Jun 26 2008

Inspired by the old traditional bowls that were employed in domestic water usage, the Plugless Sink created by designer Maja Ganszyniec allows users to use their sinks in a more traditional and eco-friendly way. By doing away with the plug, the design allows us to see for ourselves the amount of grey water we dispose of every day and lets us gauge the amount of water that gets merely wasted through such exercises. By showing us the value of water through the sheer volumes we waste everyday, the sink allows us to economize and re-use precious freshwater and help contribute to saving the planet.
