Onze by Fernando Silva is one “crazy o clock†that makes the time watching a fun activity. Playing with the paradigms of numbers, the innovative design asks the time to be perceived, not just read. Calculating the time make it impossible not to stop for even a single second and so realize that time passes although only seconds. Unlike the conventional clocks, it has twelve points showing exact times, but the eleven marking the meetings of the hands over the course of 360 °. Might sound bit confusing; considering the position of the hands, 6 remains vertically aligned with the 12 but the fun part is discovering them with calculation and common sense. Those who hate mathematics will hate this clock too but ingenious minds will simply adore it!
