It also provides an efficient way of achieving room to room cleaning. The Virtual Wall Lighthouse for Roomba 500 series uses an infrared signal to control and guide the robot within the specified location. There are two modes available. The Lighthouse mode gives the most comprehensive cleaning of the room and controls the motions of the robot within the room, till it cleans it perfectly. In Virtual Wall mode, the Virtual Wall Lighthouse can be set outside the doorway, where the robot should not go. By specifying the distance to the door, Roomba can be allowed to roam in limited areas.
