The Chubby Brothers dining table is not exactly so much a dining set as it is a sculpture. But then again that does not mean that it isn’t functional or comfortable. At least that’s what its creator Brian Lee would have us believe. You see, the whole set is created to fulfill the dual purpose of being both an artwork as well as a bit of living room furniture. When put together, the set is virtually unrecognizable as a piece of furniture thanks to an astonishing table design and Leaf spring seats on each of the four chairs.
Designed with a view to make moving a pleasant experience, the table breaks down into six parts once the chairs are removed and easily fits through doors! With the kinda sense and sensibility this piece shows, I won’t be entirely surprised if Phillips adopts this thing as a foster child!
