We have not featured lampshades much at Hometone but Lumina Italia Ra is such a cool lamp that it simply deserved a mention. Designed by Ettore Cimini, the fiber optic lamp resembles some sort of mechanoid serpent sitting on the desk.

What’s different? Stuffed with two fully adjustable steel and technopolymer arms that individually deliver and focus light from a 100W fluorescent bulb from the tip of their snake-like head using fiber optic cable. With an integrated dimmer control, this uber cool lamp is simply magnificent!

Price and availability: No word on pricing yet and information is provided on a contact only basis. As you’d expect, it won’t be cheap.
