Music is one of the most important dimensions of our lives. In theory, in Western or Indian music, moods of the human beings are associated with different compositions and every mood has been associated with a color, especially in Indian classical music. The Living Player is a neat attempt to give this theory a physical form. This Living Player designed by Mariangela Stoppa is a lamp with an MP3 player, a radio and an alarm clock that lights up with the help of a bracelet.
This bracelet is made up of GSR (Galvanic Skin Response) sensors and supported by a Wi-Fi system, which helps in detecting the mood of the person and communicating it through an LED lamp that changes color according to the mood of the person. However, if we were to give the scientific principle on which this whole system was based, it is chromotherapy according to which colors influence the moods of the humans.
