This is one gadget that I really believe is the by far the most fool-proof yet economical in home security till date. The Linksys internet home monitoring camera is laced with an 802.11g spec and 10/100 Ethernet connections. The VGA video gets recorded to a MPEG4 or Motion JPEG codec and I guess that’s enough to monitor suspicious activities around the house and the neighborhood. The camera retails for $120.
