La Ruche: A collection inspired by nature!
Sameer Kumar | Jul 4 2008

It is not at all surprising to know that more and more designers and even engineers are turning towards nature for both inspiration and solutions that have eluded their imagination and understanding. It is no shame in taking piece of advice from the 5 million years of evolution that has crafted, shaped and altered the face of this planet. ‘La Ruche’ is a line of work that has been inspired by some of the most diligent and sweet workers on the planet- Bees.

Created by young designer Moroccan El Mostapha Ouhlani painted wood, “La Ruche” is a collection inspired by the intricate and complex bee hive structure and traditional forms of architecture Arab Andalusia. For someone who is more of a Chemistry student, it is putting together many Benzenes at a single place in the most aesthetic of manner.

They apparently can be used to even store some stuff and look pretty classy. The designer seems to have taken immense car and put in plenty of time to get the right modular shape and the spacing that brings out the best patterns. There are 12 pieces available in black, white and orange for 1 950 euros. So you better hurry before they go all out!
