Invincible, the Japanese have mastered the art of dominating the technical world. Hitachi, a Japanese company has forayed into an all new concept of manufacturing fridges like R-y5400 and R-y6000 that releases vitamin C to keep your food fresh and healthy. It uses the eerie quality of vitamin C that help meat keep its color longer and also abate nutrient loss in vegetables and fish. To avert mold, this one-of-a-kind fridge has a special filter. It comprises six-drawers, has a volume of 602 liters and costs $3,100. Hitachi, on an average will be producing 3,000 units per month, the number can go down only in case they are left bereft of vitamin C. With pioneering technology by Hitachi, no unhygienic and stale food anymore.
