With a name like that iGorenje could have done little else than let Apple’s baby do all the talking. Gorenje has made several appliances, including a fridge, washing machine and a microwave, which all have one thing in common – they all are controlled via your iPhone or iPod Touch. The working is quite simple actually. Gorenje will provide software for free on its portal. This software when installed will allow wireless access to the electronic device in question, which by the way would be Wi-Fi enabled. The device in return will also perform some music related function; for instance Gorenje’s fridge can also act as an amplifier for the music player. The arrangement looks a win-win all the way. The Apple-savvy devices from the Slovenian appliance manufacturer will roll out next year and there’s every reason to suppose that iPhone/iPod Touch-crazed generation will fall for them.
