Husqvarna Panthera Leo: The lawnmower of the future
Mansi | Jun 10 2009

Husqvarna, the worldwide leader and producer of lawnmowers, has come up with an innovatively smart lawnmower concept called the Husqvarna Panthera Leo for the future lawn. The concept mower is a hybrid of two ride-on mowers, the Husqvarna Rider and Zero-Turn. Made from recycled material, the mower runs on five electric motors power-driven by a rechargeable lithium-phosphate battery.

It has three separate cutters set with razor sharp blades that offer a variable cutting width of 85 to 120cm. It is fitted with a sensor assisted LCD display monitor which tells the gardeners everything required to achieve a perfect lawn. It would give you information on the speed of the mower, cutting width, cutting height, service needs, left-over battery time and warns the user about objects that are too close. Easily chargeable, it can run for 2 hours on an overnight charge. The smart lawnmower comes with zero-emission technology, ergonomic steering wheel, easy to control dashboard and sound absorbing cutting deck. In short it’s a quiet, powerful and environmentally-friendly ride-on mower for the future lawn.Check out the video of the Husqvarna Panthera Leo
