The Soap Free washing machine, known as WasH20, is launched by Haier who claim that it can make your clothes look fresh and as new as ever before without using a pinch of soap. The detergent less machine works by breaking down water molecules into OH- and H+ ions involving a whole lot of chemistry where the stains on the fibre are attracted to the OH- ions and the clothes are sterilized by the H+ ions. Although the concept sounds lucrative, but for $957 how good is it a deal is still ambiguous.
