Go green with robotic pet poop decomposer
Shivangi Keprate | May 7 2009

Samu, an eco friendly product, invented by Tohoku Kankyo’s, is a robotic trash can. Going by the environmental constraints, it has come to existence at the very right time. It’s an effective invention for converting garbage and pet poop into easily decomposable mass. The whole process of conversion uses bio substance as its key catalyst breaks down pet poop into smaller molecules, thereby making it odor free. All it demands from the user is to drop the waste into the robot and start the process by just a click of a button. It can decompose around 600 to 1000g of waste per day and does not ask for a refill until four months.

Its looks and purpose does not compliment each other much. Available in four different colors, comes with a hefty price tag though; $900 only.
