Flying Circles: Massimo Castagna's strange circular partitions
Siddhesh | Sep 11 2008

The Flying Circles are strange circular shelf partitions exclusively designed by Massimo Castagna for Italian furniture maker Ceccotti Collezioni. Made up of black nickel finished steel, these rings partition the shelves in libraries, warehouses or stores so that the occupants do not mingle with each other. Depending on height of the components, these rings have been reduced to provide half or full and top or down resting support. Original shelves from the manufacturer are made up of solid American walnut and ebonized wood. Well, I feel if detached, those several rings could make an excellent stuff to train my pampered pooches with a few amusing lessons! But then, I guess that could collapse the entire rack.
