Designing hasn’t remain confined to the drawing or living rooms, in fact nowadays people looks perfection as well as innovation in every nook and corner of their homes. The new vegetable peeler and cheese slicer by Edward Austin is just another example of perfect appliance in modern kitchens. It is made from zirconia. The fine blade edges enable the pieces to get upside down, which keeps the blade straight and minimizes clogging. Designers nowadays are paying attention to small hindrances faced while cooking and try to remove that in their designs. Edward Austin, a student of Royal College of Arts, won the first prize in 2008 Design Directions competition.
