From refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, HDTVs almost all home products have undergone technological changes. However, the door has remained largely untouched by the tech invasion. Not anymore! Elivision has announced the development of its door, equipped with a 17-inch LCD display. Sounds cool, huh!


What’s different? Developed using a Linux-based DID board, the LCD display on the door is accompanied by a speaker. We don’t have any word on the pricing or specs, but hear that the display supports a range of media files fed through a USB port. An LCD screen on your door would be a pretty cool way to replace the old peephole. I don’t think I need to spend more words on its distinctiveness!
