Diffusing kitchen and living spaces: No Longer modular kitchen concept
Asmita | Aug 14 2008

With the kitchen fast becoming the choice of entertaining space in homes, most people look at modular kitchen designs as more of a necessity than a fashion choice. With the kitchen being integrated into the living room scape, it only makes sense to make it as minimalist as functionally possible. This is where this amazing No Longer modular kitchen concept created by Turkish designer Irem Baser comes into the picture.

The design draws heavily on the spaced-out living room concept and makes shelving and storage units serve the dual purpose of housing elements from both the kitchen as well as the living room. A combination of basic kitchen and living modules allows you to bring book storage, TV, music systems etc. into the kitchen space offering the room an overall diffused and dual functionality which is just perfect for small apartments!
