Designer Adam Clark has created the ultimate knife sharpening device, which could eliminate the skill and safety concerns of traditional knife sharpening equipment. It has a sliding mechanism, which helps even dull knives to be sharpened easily. The mechanism can automatically adjust to the curvature of the blade and is enclosed within the case. One has to take the sharpener, place the blade inside, shut it and then select to sharpen and then your knife is sharpened. It is made of injection mould flexible PVC, which allows the slider to move easily, and the ABS with protective metallic skin makes the product look slick. The knife would be available in 2009.
