Yet another innovatively cool way to brighten up your home interiors and if it’s here, it’s certainly peerless! The difference lies in the fact that it lowers down the energy consumption and thereby saves your hard earned money. Not enough? Well, its water operated! The brainchild of Owen Song, it’s a smart lighting system dubbed Creature that works on the chemical bonding of negative and positive electrodes to illuminate.
How does it work? Water is a conductor. There is a positive electrode and a negative electrode. Through the water, the electricity transmits from the negative electrode to the positive electrode. Turning Creature on requires water to be poured. Not only this, the water plays a role of a self-timer. The principle mechanism of Creature is evaporation. If there is a lot of water, Creature emits light longer. If there is less water, Creature emits light for a shorter time. After evaporation, Creature gradually turns off. In a nutshell, it’s lighting of water, lighting by water and lighting through water.
So guys, go off to sleep without turning the lights off but still let some light in with Creature!
