Carlotta de Bevilacqua HBM Small Suspension Lamp
Anwesha | May 24 2008

One of the most eye-catchy pieces in the field of lamps, Carlotta de Bevilacqua, HBM Small Suspension Lamp by Bruno Munari is unlike any other lamp you have come across. To begin with, this exquisite lamp is beyond the concept of any ordinary lamp, it’s a sculptural wonder encased in a 20.50″ x 14.60″ x 11.80″ body. It consists of circular discs joined together, with a small hole in the middle. When lit, the translucent material it is made of give off a diffused, fairytale-ish glow that will brighten up your room and have your guests gape at it. Even when it is switched off, it would dazzle anybody who walks into the room with its quiet, sheer beauty, thanks to its chromed metal structure. It is almost ‘alive’ with a ‘personality’ of its very own, that changes right before your eyes. It can be suspended from the ceiling with a 6.56 feet (200 cm) cable and runs on two 150W (E27) G95 bulbs, which you will need to buy separately.

Price: 1279.
