The 21st century is the personification of convenience and automation, and the Bloomp lamp by LeePatrick McIntire is the reinforcement of this statement. This lamp meets your modern needs while at the same time maintains the conventional definition of beauty. This lamp is automatic to such an extent that it knows when it is kept on its charging base and when it is lifted off the charging base, consequently knowing when to switch it off or on.
The original idea behind this project was the concept of the functionality of a lantern. The original idea also had the proposition of giving the lamp a dual personality: its automation and its portability, because its shape is inspired by the shape of a purse, which makes it portable fun and flexible. However, if you look at the final product it does not seem that the designer has not left any stone unturned in rendering it “life.”
