Surely, we’ve come across scores of weighing scales. But designers are an indefatigable lot and have lots more in store for us. Taking a different approach to weighing oneself, designer JimRuck has come up with an amazing bathroom scale with thousands of pins at the bottom of the feet of the one who wishes to know his/her body weight.

What’s different? Pins below your feet; sounds painful, right? Jim definitely had something in mind while choosing the material. Thousands of pins allow the person’s body weight to be distributed evenly across the bottom of their feet, wooden frame and metallic finish making a sturdy base to fit into any bathroom. Now that’s what you call true ingenuity!
