After streets LED bulbs all set to enter your home
Charu | Oct 31 2006

It seems that the good old electric bulbs are about to come to extinction and the credit of this unfortunate untimely demise will go to the latest LEDs, which are soon to make their way into your homes.

Not only the LEDs give a host of options to choose: ranging from night-lights to warm fuzzy room lighting and floodlights, they also save a great deal of electricity. If an incandescent bulb has a life of 1000 hours...a LED bulb will light up to 60,000 hours...this sounds cool!

So what are you waiting for, get set to welcome the LED revolution into your homes, if giving a relief to your pocket and saving country’s energy is on your mind.

I agree that LED light bulbs appear to be the future of indoor lighting, but it will be quite a while until they get bright enough to be a good replacements for most household lighting. Right now they are still pretty dim bulbs. The links you have for LED go to Crane store who charges almost $40 for one bulb. If you want to try some at about half the cost you can find them at www.shop.donsgreenstore.com for a very comprable product.
