Takeshi Miyakawa is a Japanese-born furniture designer and exhibits his fondness to save space with this unique chest of drawers. Affordable Housing places at user’s disposal numerous small drawers, conveniently located on four sides, to store away stuff like lingerie or ornaments. And I guess the name is a direct reference to the fact that this chest looks like apartment-buildings that modern urban landscape is characterized with. The Affordable Housing chest has a very nice top, making it quite suitable to display something like a vase.
